P.E.E.L., Inc. Sucks

Here you will see why doing business with Timothy L. Drobnick, Sr. / PEEL, Inc., is not a good idea.
Don't make the mistakes that so many of us who trusted Tim, have made.

This site "ONLY" refers to Timothy L. Drobnick, Sr., & P.E.E.L., Inc..

Please do not mistake us for Peel, Inc. www.peelinc.com which is, from what I understand, a very reputable printing firm in Texas.

This site is intended to educate the public about Timothy L. Drobnick, Sr. and the associated problems caused by his sometimes fraudulent actions towards the contracted ISP's, unfulfilled contracts, unsatisfactory hosting performance, and his questionable credit/billing practices. We wish to gather enough information to pursue a class action or help with individual lawsuits, so visit the PEEL SUCKS FORUM. You can email me any information you wish to keep private.

Another goal is to show how much more you get through other, more professional, more honorable, more caring, hosting providers once you become aware of them. You may ask, "why did I sign up with P.E.E.L., Inc.?". Easy answer; We all want to believe in what Tim is selling. But, above all else, remember: Tim is a salesman! And, salesmen will say and do whatever it takes to get a sale. After the sale? Well, your here! Read and make up your own mind.

I will show you many companies that truly care about you and your business who have so much more to offer. And hopefully, we will hear from some ex-ISP's who signed with Tim, who have now gone on to bigger and better things without the problems associated with Timothy L. Drobnick, Sr., & P.E.E.L., Inc...

Would it surprise you if we could show you more reliable companies that provide turnkey reseller accounts (just like Tim), with cpanelX (that everything works on), for under $25.00 a month? Imagine! 200 of those 5 meg. accounts for a price below $25.00 a month. Stick around and we will show you where, and there are those here, that will help you do it. Tim now charges $97.00 a month for a whole lot less, and a 4 year contract he doesn't honor. We are here to help you, so watch the forum as we search and find what we think are much better hosting deals for you. How about a turnkey dedicated server w/control panels for $95.00 a month? Probably less than you are paying Tim, now!

You should read the BBB's report on PEEL, Inc.

From the BetterBusinessBureau Report

"In the last three years the Bureau has processed seventeen complaints concerning sales practices, refunds, unfulfilled contracts, unsatisfactory performance and credit/billing matters which were closed as unanswered and unresolved." "Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to unanswered and unresolved complaints."

Looks like Tim's newest rip-off is his hometown portal scheme. We received this letter from one of his portal directors.

"In my own opinion, things won't ever get any better with TIm! Why do I say that? When I first got a portal, I tried to do things myself, so I read in the forums to try to learn how to do things. I also investigated the other forums for isp's, yobisc's and others. What I found while reading, almost all the time, was that service was always poor and if you gave any advice or suggestions you just seemed to alienate Tim. People were always complaining that he wouldn't reply to their questions, he just didn't send them anything at times, essentially stopping all communication with them, no support, nothing. Just dealing with Tim, that won't change in my opinion and it won't according to his history. So, you can easily see that things still remain broke on many of the portals and they just continue to have problems for no good reason, other than sloppy coding and lack of follow through by Tim. If you actually can believe this, it was reported to me by a portal director who quit recently, Tim reported a convenient hack of the business listings that took place while he was working on replacing that same area with a 6.9 upgrade that portal directors had to pay more for! He refused to fix the previous version as he told everyone that all the problems would be fixed with the upgrade. Sound Fishy? Now the uninformed are paying more and still getting nothing fixed. Where are people like the Chandler Arizona director ( McMichael ) the hot shot director that Tim still uses in his existing advertising and audio interviews ? Notice also how many portal directors leave? I'm told it averages 4-5 a month. It shows you that Tim continues to believe in his sales numbers game, where he just replaces the person with some one else when they get wise to him. Then he just entices another unwary person into the never ending recycling of people. When too many get wise to his deal, he just changes what he offers. Another thing that I have a gut feeling about, is that it is my belief that there are maybe 10% active portal directors around the world of the supposed over 700 portals. That is easy to check by going to the yourhometownportal.com site, look at the portals individually and see how many don't have the link on the front page that it needs a portal director or doesn't have any info in the contact us page. Then as you go through the portals see how many have other advertising on them that the former portal director put on there (but the portal director quit!) Of course, the default portal director for business listings and classifieds is Tim, so when renewals come around the income goes directly to him. So if you don't make it as a portal director Tim still reaps the benefits of all the portal directors' advertising and their time and effort to get the portal exposure. By the way, Tim is reported as having refused to meet with Google and over a hundred of his portals were delisted. Personally, I think Tim believes he's that important, however Google caught up with the fact that Google sees how many portals have the same whoisis info and Tim now relies on alexa for activity ranking instead of a legitimate ecommerce ranking. It also seems that there is only Tim, John and another woman mentioned in the forums and nightly meetings as the only contacts for P.E.E.L. Doesn't this seem like that this is probably only a one man show, with multiple email aliases? Portals have to be one of his best "deals" yet. It is a shame that in my opinion Tim wasn't legit. If I were a portal director I would want much more control over fixing problems with the portal. This lack of timely service just points out how this is just another "deal" to stay away from. If you are a portal director in one of these "deals", in my opinion you might want to make arrangements for yourself, just so you don't lose your business if for some reason you fall out of favor or a plug gets pulled on you too. Just a word to the wise!"

You can go here to view my complaint filed with the BBB and the Ohio AG.

A new place, to file your complaint, has been brought to our attention. Be sure to file your complaints, here.

When you are finished there, you can visit our Forum to discuss your thoughts or post your problems with Timothy L. Drobnick, Sr. (Peel, Inc.). Tim has all posts with negative implications removed from his forums, and bans those who try to seek help or tell what is going on, so we need a place where our problems can be discussed. I am trying to furnish that place, but will not tolerate anonymous guests who are here just to cause problems. Therefore you must now register to post here, and I will remove posts containing profanity or other abusive information.

It is stated in Tim's forum, that it is not the place to air his dirty laundry. Let's see now; he will not let us air his dirty laundry in the chat areas, nor in the forum, emails are unanswered, and Trouble Tickets ignored. Looks like he wants to keep his dirty laundry a secret. I think not! The truth and facts about Timothy L. Drobnick, Sr. should be brought to public view! It is no longer a question of "if" Tim will do you wrong, it is a question of "when".
